Wednesday Market Hours Update

Just a quick note that the Wednesday Farmer's Market hours have changed to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are thrilled with change as it makes picking up some fresh goodies after work a reality. You can expect to find your bread, veggies, fish, dairy, and of course beef all on hand tomorrow at the Market.
So what does a multiple day Market mean for you? Will you take advantage of the extra days or will the Saturday tradition hold strong? What do you think of farmers making multiple trips throughout the week to sell their wares?

I guess the real question is - will more people come to the market with the increased number of days/hours, or are you just dividing the people who already go over those days. If it is the latter, I would say the saturday market is just fine. I think the saturday tradition will hold, but only time will tell.

You will still be seeing me on saturday, I can't imagine fighting traffic after work to get to the waterfront, and then back all the way out!

First off,
I am a maritimer who has been living in Montreal for the past 7 yrs. I was beyond excited to see the new farmer's market captured on video for the first time!
I just want to say how impressive your digital efforts are especially compared to the market your playing in - kudos !
The fact that you and other local farms are attempting to stretch some of your hours into the week is FANTASTIC !!!!!!! and a wonderful alternative to big box stores ~ I mean honestly I wouldn't eat grocery store meat even in a pinch ... bring on the ceasar salad and roasted sweet potatoes!
